    "And" Conditions in SUMPRODUCT formula

    Hi All,

I'm using a SUMPRODUCT formula to sum some data according to their category.

For the sake of the data, I have 1 and 0 running along the rows and columns, and i want it to sum the data if it's both a 0 at the top of column and 0 at the side of row. THis is so i can turn different data "on" and "off"

    I have attached an example,

    Thanks

But that's what your formula is doing. If you put a 1 in AC7 to turn off the sumproduct then C8 evaluates to zero

    Please clarify what you expect.

Incidentally why are formulae in the first formula cell in C8 referring to row 7, (and offset by 1 all the way down). That's a quite unsual treatment

Sorry, You're right. I meant "OR", so if one of the rows or columns has a 0.

I just built this purely for an example, the original is nothing like it, so ignore setup

    Hi,

SUMPRODUCT and indeed SUMIFS require ranges to be the same size.
    Try instead
