Working out averages automatically when new stats added.

Hi all,

Is there a way to work out averages automatically when I add in a new set of stats?
Example, I have ten sets of numbers so obviously I add them up and divide by 10, but is there a way to make it automatically adjust when I add the 11th 12th 13th set. Etc...

You can use =AVERAGE() rather than summing and dividing.

For example, you could use =AVERAGE(A:A) to average any numbers in column A. As you add/remove numbers from the list the average will change automatically.

If an entire column doesn't work for your data layout you could use a dynamic named range to do the same.
