COUNTIF Formula

I have a countif formula where i'm trying to search a table across 8 columns for one value. And then search another column that is a date column and find all the matching criteria in the date range provided.


=COUNTIFS(Test[Link1]:Test[Link8],"Testing*", Test[Created], ">1/1/2018",Test[Created],"<2/1/2018")

But the formula keeps coming up with the #Value! error.

Any help is appreciated.

COUNTIFS doesn't work across a 2D range like that I'm afraid.

You may be able to do this with SUMPRODUCT. Not tested as no sample workbook provided.
