    What assistance do you want?

Please upload a workbook or a representative cut down copy, anonymised if necessary. It is always easier to advise if we can see your request in its context.

Show a before and after situation with manually calculated results, explaining which information is data and which is results, and if it's not blindingly obvious how you have arrived at your results some explanatory notes as well.

Pictures are rarely much use and no one wants to re-create your data when you already have it.

    Re: IF Statement not executing

I'm attempting to use the IF statement previous provided in Column L. I'm attempting to use the Weight in Column P to calculate Utilization (Column L) based on the carrier selection in Column B. I can't seem to find where I can attach a the file.

    IF($B3=$O$2,($H3/$P$2)+($I3/$Q$2))/2,IF($B3=$O$3,($H3/$P$3)+($I3/$Q$2))/2, IF($B3=$O$4,($H3/$P$4)+($I3/$Q$2))/2Updated Outbound Trailer Log Week MASTER.xlsx

    Hi,

The paperclip attach icon isn't working. Hasn't been for aeons - no don't even ask!

To attach a file click the Go Advanced button at the bottom right of the post area. Then look unserneath the post for the Manage Attachments section, click that and take it from there.

    Re: IF Statement not executing

    Thanks,

Would indicate exactly what result you expect in L3 and importantly how you arrived at the result. One or two more examples woth different inputs would also be useful.

i.e we need to undeestand what you mean by Utilisation - or Utilization if you prefer

    Re: IF Statement not executing

Utilization is the percentage of actual weight and cube compared to the goal which is in the far right of the spreadsheet in Column's P and Q. The Carrier has to be determined hence the IF statement before the calculation. Once the carrier is determined then the utilization can be calculated, (HLEX, SDCK, WM). As you can see in B3, HLEX has been selected so the formula to determine Utilization should be =sum(H3/P2)+(I3/Q2)/2. I hope that made since.

Thank you very much, that worked perfectly. I was attempting to use a VLOOKUP earlier but could not get that to work either. Thank you again.
