Post Can I create an "intelligent link" that links to my "today" area of my spreadsheet?

    Hello, I am new here

I have a question about what I am calling "intelligent links".

I have a large spreadsheet being used as a timesheet. It is possible to create a clickable link that takes the user to the "today" section of the file. The problem being that with the passing of each day, the section for today moves down about 20 rows!
    Many thanks

    T

    Hi T,

This is what I'd call "Dynamic Links" and yes it can be done, depending on your data layout.
If you had daily dates listed in column A of Sheet1 then the below formula in a cell would create a link that when clicked would go to today's date.
    Formula: copy to clipboard

You may need to adjust it slightly if you only have week commencing dates for example.
