    flashfill repeating selected data

    Hi!

    I'm trying to flash fill for some data and it keeps repeating what I've already selected for the flash fill example.

    I'll fill in:

    PS11AT01P13W
    PS11AT02P13W
    PS11AT03P13W
    PS11AT04P13W

    When it flash fills it will give me:

    PS11AT01P13W
    PS11AT02P13W
    PS11AT03P13W
    PS11AT04P13W
    PS11AT01P13W
    PS11AT02P13W
    PS11AT03P13W
    PS11AT04P13W

    What i want is:

    PS11AT01P13W
    PS11AT02P13W
    PS11AT03P13W
    PS11AT04P13W
    PS11AT05P13W
    PS11AT06P13W
    PS11AT07P13W
    PS11AT08P13W

    I hope you can help i cant seem to find the answer anywhere.

    I don't think Excel will sequentially change the numbers in the middle of your entry. You could try this round-about way to get your desired result--
    Enter "PS11AT01" in A1 then flash fill down. Use =CONCATENATE(A1,"P13W") in Column B to combine A1 with B1 and so on.
