I have about 200+ lines of data and for each third line, I would like a particular cell to represent the difference between the two cells of data directly above (I would like to do this for three separate columns). I thought using the Subtotal function might work but it doesn't appear to offer a subtraction/difference option. Is that correct? Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Once the Subtotal feature has applied the SUBTOTAL function in the summary lines ... with the table selected ... hit the F5 function key > click Special ... > click Formulas > hit Enter.
The summary rows are selected tab until you are at E4 and replace the SUBTOTAL formula with E3-E2 and while holding down just Ctrl hit Enter. The formula will populate the entire selected range.

That worked great - thank you! I've used the F5 for blanks but didn't think to use it for formulas!
