    If function help

I had to calculate how to bring 1st or 2nd shift based on productions. I used if function to do that which worked but Issue is that not all labor categories are involved in production. I am trying to figure out how I can do it.
I used following formula to bring result between 1st or 2nd shift
    =if(d8>(d7*7),2,1) where d8 = daily production number, d7 = hourly production.

As I mentioned above that not all labor categories are involved in production. So if E10 have 1 person working, Based on daily production, I want it to show shift 1 or 2, but if there is 0 person working, than show none. Please help. I tried ISBLANK but it didn't work the way I wanted. Thank you.

    Re: If function help

I recommend uploading a small representative sample of your data along with the desired results (which you can enter manually) based on that data.

To upload an Excel workbook, follow these steps:
    1) Click on "Go Advanced"
    2) Click on "Manage Attachments"
    3) Click on "Choose File"
    4) Choose your file and click on "Open"
    5) Click on "Upload"
    6) Click on "Close this window"
