INDIRECT formula referencing sheet and row

    Hi,
I'm trying to use this formula =(INDIRECT("'"&E2&"'!""A"&"S2")) where E2 has the name of the sheet and S2 has the name of the row (variable) i was to reference but it's just giving me a #REF! result. It's probably something as simple as having too many " or too many ' or having them in the wrong place but can someone please help? I'm taring my hair out trying to get it right!

    Try it this way:

    =INDIRECT("'"&E2&"'!A"&S2)

where S2 should contain the row number.

    Hope this helps.
