count if formula with link to closed workbook

hi all i have a count if formula which works fine but it is linked to a closed workbook which i have now learnt the count if formulas dont work with closed workbooks the formula is below

=COUNTIFS('W:\_RFFS\EGLK RFFS RECORDS\RFFS Incident Log\[Incident Log.xlsm]LOG'!$C$4:$C$100,$B23,'W:\_RFFS\EGLK RFFS RECORDS\RFFS Incident Log\[Incident Log.xlsm]LOG'!$K$4:$K$100,C$22)

ihave tried a workaround from a post i saw on here but it is not working see below (working but reurning different values)

{=COUNT(IFS('W:\_RFFS\EGLK RFFS RECORDS\RFFS Incident Log\[Incident Log.xlsm]LOG'!$C$4:$C$100,$B23,'W:\_RFFS\EGLK RFFS RECORDS\RFFS Incident Log\[Incident Log.xlsm]LOG'!$K$4:$K$100,C$22))}

any help on were im going wrong with formula

Perhaps try SUMPRODUCT instead. It works with closed workbooks
