    Another (yet different) Time Problem

I would like to calculate the difference between a scheduled off time and the actual off time. I would like to see a blank if the person actual got off early.

What seems pretty straightforward is complicated by the fact that some shifts occur over midnight.

I have attached a spreadsheet with an example along with my trys.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi there,

With Time values in Cells B10 and C10, try using:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
This assumes that the difference between the expected end time and the actual end time will not exceed 12 hours (0.5 in the above formula).

Hope this helps - please let me know how you get on.

    Regards,

    Greg M
