If the number 10 is sat in A1 and I cursor my way to A1 and type in 20 it replaces it.
Is it possible for me to type in 20 and the number 10 moves to A2, so that now I am showing 20 in A1 and 10 in A1?
Thanks

Hi parbynat,
This sounds like you need some VBA to do your problem. This would go against the normal way data is entered into an Excel cell. Would you want this for ONLY cell A1 or all cells on a worksheet, or only cells in Row 1.
I'd be looking at clicking on the row number "1" and inserting a row and then type your number into the blank cell that appears. Would this work for you?
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

Hi MarvinP
All cells in the sheet would work fine
I should have also said that I would like it to continually move down when a new number hits the cell.
