MATCH across multiple columns returns value from LOOKUP table

I'm sure I have played with this before, but can't see what the solution is here.

I have 'LOOKUP' table on Sheet1
A set of names in column A
with a corresponding Word in Column B.

On a separate sheet I have
Column A = formula which will return the word from Column B.
Columns B-K could be blank or have a name in them.

IF any of the names in Columns B-K appear in the table on Sheet1 then I want the formula to return the Word from Column B
If there is no match - so none of the names in Col B-K match a name in Sheet1 Col A, then I would like a blank "" return.

    Thanks so much

Attach a small sample workbook for us to use, please.

Re: MATCH across multiple columns returns value from LOOKUP table

Hi, I would normally, but this was more a re-configuring of the setup of the data which made a solution unnecessary. Sorry. Thank you SO much for your interest though.
