How to sort column without messing up the formula calculation?

    Hi,

Is there a way to sort a column without making the formula recalculate different values (as the old values have move due to the sorting)?

    Thanks.

Re: How to sort column without messing up the formula calculation?

    Hi there,

What I normally do is to copy the calculated formula values to a helper column, sort the required range plus the helper column using the helper column as the sort key, and then delete the values in the helper column. Maybe someone else has a better way?

    Regards,

    Greg M
