YYYYMMDD Format Data Validation

Hello Everyone,

I am definitely growing in my excel skills but have come to a conundrum I cannot solve on my own. I need to establish a data validation formula that requires YYYYMMDD format for a single cell. If anything else is entered I need it to reject the data. Anyone have any solutions or guidance? I appreciate your time and look forward to being active in the forum.

So, with cell say A1 active you could try the below, Custom Validation Formula, and set the input / alert messages per your preference.
