    Dynamic MultiColumn SumIF Formula

    All,

I'm having trouble with the following (see attached for example problem). I'd like to write a "sumifs-like" formula that can accommodate a multi-column sumrange based upon today's date and month.

For example, if sumifs criteria are met, the formula would sum column 1 through column x (column x's header would be today's month and fiscal year).

Any ideas? The example workbook should provide a more clear description of the problem.

    Thanks in advance!

It's almost always easier and simpler to use actual dates rather than text dates.

With that thought in mind in E14 enter 10/1/2018 for the start date. In F14 and across

    Use those for column referencing.

There is no APE # in D6. This formula does not explicitly include the APE #s. Add another criteria to this formula if that changes.

    Hey FlameRetired,

Thanks for the quick response. Although, it seems as if the formula you provided sums every column, instead of summing just through the date in cell A2 (assuming i translated your formula correctly to the attached).

Try changing the date in E14 to 10/1/2018
