Calculating the increase of an item from one date to another at a given rate.

I'm trying to calculate how many miles are accrued on several vehicles from the day they were purchased through today. On average a person adds 20,000 miles to their vehicle's odometer per year. I have the odometer reading from when it left the company, and their purchase date. What formula can I use that would take the years/months from purchase date and calculate the amount of miles added to the odometer over that time at the rate of 20,000 mi/year??

a few options... if you assume an avg of 365.25 days per calendar year you could do something like:

the above would give the estimated mileage as of today based on purchase date (A2) and odometer reading at purchase (B2)
