    Pivot Table Lookup

I have a pivot table with various data such as Account, Date, AccName (rows) and Average Cost (column)

I lookup the MIN and MAX value of the Average Cost, but I want to show the AccName as well.
Normally that would be easy as matching the data and linking the appropriate column but AccName is not in its own column, it being a pivot table.

Is there an easy way to do this please?

    Pivot Table as below:
    ROWS
    Account
    Date
    AccName

    VALUES
    Average Cost (avg sum)

Min and Max look at the Average Cost column (=MIN(B:B)) etc but I want to also show the Name associated with the matching MIN value found?

Any help would be appreciated please.

    Thanks.

Can you attach a desensitised example to get an idea of your problem?

    Re: Pivot Table Lookup

As you can see this is the Pivot - no data is given that means anything.
When I add AccName it appears under the (+) but I need to add it as a separate column. When I try to do this is tries to make it a calculation (avg, sum, etc) - how can I add a AccName column (existing field) that just shows the field data for that record in a column or even link to that column.

Bottom line is that I need to show the AccName based on a search on the Account (top) and Date. I was going to use VLOOKUP to do this task but without the AccName coumn I cannot figure it out.

It sounds as if the report layout is set to outline, try setting to tabular instead. If this doesn't help then please upload the sample spreadsheet from which the screenshot is taken.
