    Question Adding Annual Totals on a Summary Sheet by Name

    Hi,

    I have a spreadsheet (attached) that has annual tabs that calculate how many audits individuals have conducted over the year. In the "Running Total" worksheet I would like it so that if the names match it puts the total for the year into the correct cell. I realise that in cell C4 I could just out ='2008 Summary'!N4 which would work for everything previous to 2019, but in 2019 I will be adding people and changing other things, which is why I am looking for something that links the names in column A.

    So for example, in cell N24 in the Running Total worksheet, rather than having ='2019 Summary'!N10 I would want it so that it says that if the name Glenn is in a cell in Column A of the 2019 Summary worksheet, take the total from that row and put it into cell N24 in the Running Total worksheet.

    I hope that makes sense?!

    Please try at C4
    =SUMIFS(INDIRECT("'"&C$3&" Summary'!N:N"),INDIRECT("'"&C$3&" Summary'!A:A"),$A4)
