Summing a Column Based on Two Criteria

I need a formula that says, if the date in column B is the same, and the form of payment in column D is the same, then sum the payment amounts in column G. Any ideas?

    Hi jwomack1978,

Have you considered using a pivot table? That would cover what you need.

Sounds like you need the SUMIFS function: https://support.office.com/en-us/art...6-611cebce642b

    AliGW,

Thanks for correcting my subject! I'll check out the link you provided and give it a shot. The_Snook, I use excel often, but I am far from a power user, so I'm not super familiar with pivot tables, but I will do some research. Thanks for both of your help!
