    If >0, n+1 formula

    Hi all,

    Bit of a confusing title, but wasn't quite sure what this would come under.

    Basically, I'm looking to calc the following:

    "Whenever a number appears in Col B, +1 in Col A"

    Here's what it would look like:

    Simple(ish), but I haven't got a scooby!

    In A2 and copy down,

    =IF(ISNUMBER(B3), COUNT(B$1:B3), "")
