Conditional formatting within a column

Hi,
I am an active user of excel no expert in excel formula.
It seems to be a simple problem to solve, but certainly not for me.

I have a column of numeric cells and I want to highlight the cells that are higher in value than the previous/above cell.
Can somebody please help.
