Comparing data on three different cells based on month

Hi.

Please post an Excel workbook. Screenshots are of little value and no one wants to retype data you already have.

Also please take time to update your profile. Windows 10 is not an Excel version. That information is often helpful for suggesting solutions.

If you don't know where to find the version number try clicking File >> Account or File >> Home >> Account. You should see the version of Office/Excel in the upper right of the screen --- Office 2007, 2010, 2013 ... etc.

If you are not familiar with how to upload an Excel file:

To attach a file to your post: (Please no pics or screenshots ... saves retyping data.),

be sure to desensitize the data

• click “Go Advanced” (next to Post Quick Reply – bottom right),
• scroll down until you see “Manage Attachments”, click that,
• click “Browse”.
• select your file(s)
• click “Upload”
• click “Close window”
• click “Submit Reply”

The file name will appear at the bottom of your reply.

Agree that a sample WB will help greatly.

However, you will probably end up using INDEX/MATCH, with the MATCH being based on the month, the month-1 and the month-12

The upload has external references so I forced the date in A5 to 1/1/2019.

Try this in B7. Then copy B7 and paste into B9, B11 and B13.

We encourage not using merged cells. They cause havoc with formulas.
