Hello! In general I'm very new to rostering systems, I help out at a railway and need help sorting out an auto rostering system that decides the best person based on wether they are passed or not to drive that particular locomotive. I have attached the Roster and database below. If you need any help with what the locomotives actually are (if it helps solve the problem) i will happily help!

Hello and welcome to the forum.
1st an observation. "Steam Firemen" in cell A2 'Roster' does not match with the "steam fireman" part of cell F1 'Drivers'.
Those need to be the same.
Beyond that I will need more information.
To that end please upload an additional workbook in your next post.
- Please include the manually typed in names you expect.
- Explain the step by step logic you used to arrive at those names.
