Looking to colour cell green if meets budget, red if exceeds.

    Hi All,

I am not very good at excel, but I am trying to clean up our corporate template for contract budget checks. What I am trying to do is turn the Variance cell green if the tender is within the approved budget or red if the tender exceeds budget. Our current way of displaying this is with brackets for a negative. I was told its somewhere in the conditional formatting by a colleague, but I couldn't figure it out.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you.

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.
