Hi all,
I have a stock table with different sizes of rings in mm and inches on one sheet and an international size conversion chart on another sheet.
I need a function that would index the closest USA size by matching sizes in mm. not all are exact to use vlookup.
I saw a function combining INDEX, MATCH and ABS but it was to match one value. Looking for help to match multiple values.

I think I've got it now what you mean.
Into E2:
Accept formula with Ctrl+Shift+Enter (not just Enter) as is array formula (you should get {} at start/end of) and drag it down as needed.

Thanks, but the problem is that the value that picks up by order is not always the closest,
for example. functions gives result
EYE CATCHER Kobalto chromas 20 0.7874 10 T 1/2
closest match by chart is 20.02 0.788 10 1/4 U
yeap, this one worksthank you very much. vlookup is not checking the closest match
