Vlookup if contains

Hi all,

I am looking for a formula where it checks a cell, looks if it contains one of 5 options (in a table) and returns the correct value (from same table). Any ideas?
So maybe a combination between search and vlookup or search and index match? The fact that should check for more than one value seems to be the hard part...

It doesn't seem to be hard. but attaching an example would make it easier.

iferror(vlookup(value to check, 5values in a range,1,0),"value not found") would be a start, but you have provided no ranges to change it, likewise where might the values be found

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
