Excel displaying wrong number in lowest net score

    Hi All newb here!,
I have a spreadsheet that tracks my groups golf scores and handicaps etc. One of the functions is to display the winner of the low net score but excel is displaying numbers that are not even in the cells specified. Here is the formula I am using:

    =TRUNC(MIN(J2,J97,J179,J274))

J is the column and 2,97,179,274 are the cells containing each players net score. In the example here the net scores are as follows: J2 is 78, J97 is 75, J179 is 79 and J274 is 80. The number displayed by the formula should be the lowest of those scores but what is displayed is 74. Any idea why this formula is not picking the lowest number and displaying it in the appropriate cell?

all numbers entered in the cells such as J97 are whole numbers ie. 75 not 75.0

The result is 75 which is correct. I dragged it down to the next row and the result for that net score was correct also. THANK YOU popipipo! You have solved my problem and I greatly appreciate it!
