Smile Search a row for a string and return result

    Hi Everyone,

So I have a checklist that I am trying to make easier to use each month. Once the criteria has been done for a certain month it is marked with an "x". If it has not been done yet then it is marked with an "o". That is great but I want to add a formula at the end of the row that will check to see if there are any "o" entries. If the formula finds a "o" along the row then I need it to return "o" (if that makes sense). I have tried Match, Vlookup and numerous other ways but am simply not great with Excel.

I have attached spread sheet that has the layout but is just missing the formula.

Thank you for any help : )

    Try this:

    =IF(COUNTIF(B2:M2,"o")>0,"o","x")
