Question OFFSET(IF to increment rows when copying across columns

The goal is to have ONE formula in first cell of table and have the formula populate the entire table except not in the cells backwards from the starting point of each successive month using an OFFSET formula with an inbedded IF statement.

    Excel file attached.

It is better to describe what you want to do, rather than try to show a formula that you want when you know that formula doesn't do what you want. I'm unclear as to how your OFFSET formula has anything to do with the sample result you show or what you described.

But this solution will give you the same results you are already showing, using a single formula you can drag through the whole range. Put this formula in the blue cell

and then copy to all cells. The tan cells will be blank and the yellow cells will have the same numbers you have now.

    Duplicate of thread, https://www.excelforum.com/excel-for...s-columns.html

You were asked to attach a sample there, not start another thread.
