Find value based on three criterias

I have tried to find the correct solution both here in the forum and on various sites, but I can´t wrap my head around how to solve this.
Attached you find an easy example of what I´m trying to achieve, but in reality the file is of course much larger.

• In column A I have the first criteria, in this example a fruit.
• On row 1 is the second criteria, in this example Cost price
• On row 2 is the third criteria, in this example month

So how would a formula look that answers the question “What was the Cost price of Pears in March” based on the values in A8:A10?

I have experimented both with an array INDEX/MATCH and a VLOOKUP with multiple MATCH, but can´t get it to work.
