assign weightage number based on count

hello all!

So i am in charge of a award ceremony. I have only 15 slots available and i need to allocate the 15 slots based on the count of schools. the more submission the schools have, the more slots they will be allocated.

I know the formula is (count / sum ) * 15. However, i also want to have special criteria, which is to state that one particular sch must have a min slot of 1. How do i do it?

Where you are multplying by 15 you need to count the number of different schools and take that away from 15 as each must have at least 1 place allocated. If you have 10 different schools that HAVE to have a space then they would be playing for 5 additional spaces.

Essentially make a list of shools that have to have 1 spot and count them up

Sorry. i didnt quite get it.

i uploaded the test file.

So i can do a round formula to get the integer. And i want Cell AA to have minimum 1 slots.
