Hi All,
I have a spreadsheet and when a user enters a new row to it there are certain mandatory cells they must complete. I know how to highlight any cells in red if they are blank using conditional formatting.
However, if I do this for the first 1000 rows of my spreadsheet then all the blanks are highlighted, even if there is nothing typed in that row. Is there a way I can do it where the blank cells only highlight as red if something is typed into column A?
So for example, row 500 is blank so nothing is highlighted red. As soon as someone types a client name into A500 - then B500, C500 and E500 show up as red because they are blank and stay red until someone types into them.
Hope that makes sense?
Many thanks
