Excel Formula for lookup in Range in Reference Table

    Hello,

I work in manufacturing Sector. I have to use a lot of Reference Standard for Mechanical Engineering on my collected data .

    Ref Std OutPut
    0 - 6 = 0.30
    6 - 10 = 0.36
    10-18 = 0.44
    18-30 = 0.52
    30-50 = 0.80
    50-80 = 0.90
    80-120 = 1.10

So Now i supposedly have a Collected Data say 16.00, Which i have to find in Ref-Std Range and depending on which range the collected data falls, i have to print the out put.
For 16, the range is 10-18 and out put is 0.44
Similiarly say Collected Data is 30, range is 18-30 and output is 0.52.
Kindly someone plz provide me with a formula to do such process with a widerange of collected data.

Re: Excel Formula for lookup in Range in Reference Table

    Complex questions.

You really need to upload a dummy worksheet showing the start, middle and end results you are looking for.
Uploading an attachment will assist Forum Members in finding the correct Solution for you. Create a dummy worksheet if necessary, add your start data and show where / what your expected results should be. TO ADD A FILE:

Go to 'Advanced. click on 'Manage Attachments. Select 'Browse & Choose your file, Select 'Upload and then close the Attachment window.
