Use Workbook Sheet number rather than sheet name in a formula

I want to create a workbook which links to Cell C5 on the 3rd worksheet in a number of other workbooks. The problem is that the Worksheet name can vary in each of those workbooks but it will always be sheet 3.
Is there a way to do this using a simple formula in my workbook such as =Sheet(3)!C5 or similar?

This is not as simple as you will want!!

First issue: Will the other workbooks be OPEN or CLOSED?

Second Issue: If closed, will the destination file be needed ONLY or your PC, or will it be shared/emailed, etc, to others?

Final issue: Are you allowed to use VBA?

Ha Ha. Why am I not surprised? My simple questions rarely have simple answers. Never mind, thanks for your reply. On this occasion, VBA, Macros etc are not possible so I will just have to do it the long winded way.

Apologies, I assumed because I couldn't use VBA there was no point in persuing.
    Q1. Workbooks will be CLOSED
Q2. Destination File will be on a Server but it will be in the same folder as all of the source files
    Thank you
