    Sum time duration values

Hi, I have a column with time duration values as string. The format is "hh:mm".
But when I want to summarize all the values is impossible. How can I do that?

    Welcome to the forum.

How are you trying to summarise the times? Not enough information.

    Re: Sum time duration values

Time is just a numeric value. So today's date in numeric value is 43685. So today at 9:15 a.m. is 43685.39, noon would be 43685.5.
So what do you have and how do you expect to see it summarized?
A sample workbook with data you have AND expected results would be helpful.
click on Go advanced (under this quick reply box) then manage attachments then browse and upload to upload a workbook.
