SUMIF Not ... Summing

Hello.

So I have a Count conditional formula that works great .... =COUNTIF($S$11:$S$5000,$A14) Counts when the conditions are met....

However, when I do a Sum conditional formula .... =SUMIF($S$11:$S$5000,$A14,$W$11:$W$5000) it doesn't sum??????? I can do a Sum(W11:W5000) and it sums up the cell contents ...

I have never seen this prior and hope that someone has a quick fix.... please. Thank you.
