Exclamation Sum of cells if 1 or more cells >0

    Hi all,

I came across this and I'm stuck. Can anyone help me on the formula for the below ?

I need to sum up the Total time (Column R-blue) if on Monday (Column E - green) I have a number > 0 corresponding to that time in the same row. In example on Tuesday I need to add up time for 2 jobs, which would be as per the numbers in yellow. Hope you understand what I am after ? Would need this formula for every day, where the production is scheduled.
Happy to help with any queries

    Thanks in advance,

    Welcome to the forum.

Will you please attach a small sample Excel workbook? We are not able to work with or manipulate a picture of one and nobody wants to have to recreate your data from scratch.

    1. Make sure that your sample data are REPRESENTATIVE of your real data. The use of unrepresentative data is very frustrating and can lead to long delays in reaching a solution.

    2. Make sure that your desired results are also shown (mock up the results manually).

    3. Make sure that all confidential data is removed or replaced with dummy data first (e.g. names, addresses, E-mails, etc.).

    4. Try to avoid using merged cells as they cause lots of problems.

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment (it hasn't worked for years, and despite our repeatedly asking the technical team who own the forum to fix it, they can't be bothered to do so), so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

Please pay particular attention to point 2 (above): without an idea of your intended outcomes, it is often very difficult to offer appropriate advice.

Sorry - I have absolutely no clue what you are trying to do. Please add some expected results to the workbook (manually calculated) where you want to see them.

    Ah!

    In E20:

    =SUMIF(Table4[Monday],"<>",Table4[Total Time])

A bit late, I opened the thread earlier then got sidetracked, only just returned to it.

    In E20, then drag right.

This is the same formula that Ali suggested, but you will see that I have entered the Total Time range differently, the way that I have done it makes the column absolute so that you can drag it right without having to edit each one manually.

Note that the figures in column R have decimal values suppressed by formatting, meaning that Tuesday is actually 6.9 (6.88 rounded up to 6.9), not 6.8.
