Want to copy sheet 1 down a colum, but sheet changes to sheet 2-3-4-5 etc as I paste

I have just over 5000 rows of data and each row is duplicated down a column, however if I start at sheet 1 and copy it down I would like it to change to sheet- 4 5 6 etc as I paste down the colum... have tried to explain it in the attached workbook Attachment 638727

You can use this in B1 of Sheet1:

=INDIRECT("'Sheet"&ROWS($1:2)&"'!A1")

then copy down. Change the A to B etc. when you put it in C1.

It's a little difficult to reconcile the fact that you've only been here since 18 June 2019 with your opinion that the forum has been getting worse for two years.

I notice that with your recent posts you have generally uploaded pictures and then been asked to upload the workbook - which you never did.
You might receive more positive responses if you did what you were asked.
