INDEX MATCH on unfixed row, row defined by a specific word

Hello,

I'm trying to find a way to have INDEX MATCH search a row that isn't fixed.
Normally, you would define an array then define a specific column & row to search, but in my case the row is not fixed.
However, the intended row will always have the word "displaycode" in Column A.

I've attached an example file describing specifically what I'm intending to accomplish.

Is it possible to do this?

Hi there,

Take a look at the attached version of your workbook and see if it does what you need.

A helper column (A:A) has been added to the "Display" worksheet - this column may be hidden if required.

The new formulas make extensive use of the INDIRECT function in conjunction with values contained in some Named Ranges - this approach makes your formulas much more flexible and easy to adapt if you ever need to change (e.g.) worksheet names or data ranges.
