Forumla to take away hours worked from scheduled hours to work out how many hours overtime

Hello,

I have a spreadsheet that adds up all my collegues hours within the week, without overtime they work 38:45 but I need a formula that will take that away from the total hours they have worked so I know how much overtime to pay for the week.

Here is one consideration. Change the Format from Time to Number with 2 places after decimal.

I suggest this because everyone works the same amount of hours each day without overtime. Then
you can use this formula in H8 and copied down the column :

=IF(H8>38.45,H8-38.45,"")


There are other methods but this is one ...

Thanks but I don't think that one works, as if possible I want to keep it as time, easier to work out, the hours etc...
