Dynamic ordered list, pulling from multiple sheets

This is my first post here, although I've benefited from many great solutions on this forum. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to adapt any of them to my current problem yet.

I have a workbook with over 20 worksheets for different products that are managed and updated by different users. Data structure is consistent across these sheets, and I am trying to come up with a formula to summarize it. A simplified version is attached.

The desired outcome is to create a dynamic list of any product that has been ordered (has a delivery date or order number), but either hasn't shown up or hasn't been invoiced yet.
It would be great if these could be in date order, even though several rows might have the same delivery date, the combination of data within the row will be unique.

I've tried to get to this with INDIRECT to look through multiple sheets. Truthfully, I don't have a good enough understanding of INDIRECT or array formulas to get a working solution.

I'm hoping someone can help point me in the right direction.

    Thanks in advance!

RU OK with a helper column on the raw data sheets?

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes, a helper column would be fine. Assuming it contains a formula, I would copy it down far enough that I rarely had to update the individual sheets.

Any type of helper column or table on the summary tab would work as well.

    This is great! Thanks

I was also looking to arrange these in date order (rather than date order by sheet, if that makes sense)... but I can easily create another list to reorder this one.

    Thanks again!

I did try to do that... but got totally tied up in endless loops of INDIRECTs and other cr@p. Gave up!!

    You're welcome.

Re: Dynamic ordered list, pulling from multiple sheets

    Hello,
I checked the excel file and you did a great job in there. I also try to use this formula for my excel sheet. But, unfortunately, it doesn't work properly. I would like to do the summary sheet if all columns are full. I added my sheets in this new excel file. The excel sheets are A,1,2,3 and summary for 1-2-3 Sheets. I added my excel sheets back of the excel file which you used for Ostie's excel. If you will try to solve my problem, I would be very appreciated. Is there an option to increase the data (Because every day, new data is added to sheet A) and at the same time, it extends the summary page. If you have any question about the excel sheet, dont hesitate to contact me ASAP..

    Thank you in advance.

Re: Dynamic ordered list, pulling from multiple sheets

    Hi.

It's a forum rule that you start your own thread, rather than try to "hijack" someone else's thread. You agreed to stick to this rule, just a few days ago. This helps prevent massive confusion arising -which will happen if it is not clear which question is being answered. So please start your own thread and explain your own problem (make sure that, right from the start, you use a meaningful title (NOT things like "help needed" or "urgent problem"... think of the Google search terms that you would use to find the solution). Also, preferably attach an Excel sheet. Make sure there is enough data to demonstrate your need. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary. Remember to remove ALL confidential information first!!!

Just before you submit your post, click on GO ADVANCED (near the bottom) and scroll down to "Manage Attachments" - click that and then follow the instructions.
