Question add up Pounds & Pence formula which is separated in two seperate cells

I've attached a cash totals spreadsheet & trying to tally up the total revenue figure for the day. But the pounds have to go in one column & the pence in the other column. The end figure for the 'Total Cash' figure should total £197.48p. Can you add one cell of pence with one cell of pounds and convert to a currency total at all? Or is that totally impossible? File attached, or at least I hope it does being my first time posting. does anyone know the solution at all?

Shouldn't it be a simple =E19+F19/100, or am I misunderstanding something?

in the E19 for pounds change the formula to

    Formula: copy to clipboard

this is will give you the 3 pounds from the pence column

In cell F19 for pence use this formula
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Re: add up Pounds & Pence formula which is separated in two seperate cells

    Hello

Thank you for your reply & what answer you stated. That would be the answer if the total figure was going to be in one cell. But in E19 it needs to state £197 & in F19 it needs to state 48 - because the Pounds are in column E & the pendes are in Column F all the way down.

What I've put in column G is just to show you what each line's totals should be in columns E & F.

If I've confussed you more please do say, but hopefully I've made it clearer as to the colution I'm wanting for both cells to add up, but put the total Pounds in column E & total Pence in column F, thanks.
