Multiple Find and Replace Formula For Identification

I have a bar-code scanner and a ton of inventory numbers with corresponding names. I'm trying to find a way to be able to scan a bar code into excel and have the name automatically show up in the column next to it, from a data key in another tab. Everything I have tried hasn't worked Is this possible?

We use excel for inventory to track when parts come in and out of the warehouse, and the employees have to specify how many items of each they take. They go and scan everything they are taking then go back to put in the quantities but can't remember which barcode number goes to which part because they take around 20-50 items, so it would be nice to have the name show up next to the number on the ipad that we are scanning into.

Could you explain your answer a bit, I use excel, but am no expert. I tried your answer, but there doesn't seem to be enough arguments. I've got the input cell (for the scanned barcode), the name cell (that looks up the name for the scanned barcode next to it), the data barcode cell (on the other tab), and the data name cell (that identifies the data barcode cell, also on the other tab). I'm wanting to scan a barcode into the input cell, then have the cell next to it (Name cell) look up the name of the barcode and display it. Will your answer do this? Am I just making myself look stupid? Thanks

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
