Move text from cells based on unique reference

Morning All,
Ok, so not 100% sure how to describe this but I will do my best.
I have a spreadsheet with unique values (some of which are duplicated) followed a column which lists text as below. What I want to do, if possible is say where the reference is the same, move variable1 into column variable2 etc. so rather than having my information in columns, it's displayed in rows. In the example, I would like reference 17lol 'chuckle' to remain under variable1 but move 'grin' to variable2 and 'smile' to column variable3.

I hope this makes sense! Hope someone out there can assist.

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Better try to upload your excel file with example of your desired results, click on "Go Advanced" button then scroll down to find Manage Attachments" text button to attach the file

This proposal employs a helper column (F) which may be moved and/or hidden for aesthetic purposes.
The helper column is populated using: =IF(B3=B4,C3&", "&F4,C3)
The Output table is populated using: =IF($I3<>$I2,TRIM(MID(SUBSTITUTE($F3,",",REPT(" ",LEN($F3))),(COLUMNS($A1:A1)-1)*LEN($F3)+1,LEN($F3))),"")

Pritstick. Please amend your profile to show the Excel version you are using. Clearly it's not 2003 any more, as you have attached an .xlsx. More recent versions may offer more efficient soltutions.
