Angry Tracing Formula Frustrations — due to complex cell referencing

Suffering some apparent limitations of Excel.

Excel cell referencing (i.e. $A$6) can become a major pain when I have to make changes to a complex spreadsheet. Multiple formulas to update etc.

Tracing the formula is a major pain! I.e. Vlookup(A3, ProductMaster!$A$1:$D$25, 3, false) verses Vlookup(Product Code, Quantity In Stock, Product Master).

Who shares the frustration? Any solutions!?

If you wanna replace A6 with another cell, the a ctrl+H(replace can work). Also, you could create named ranges to be used in the formula.

Not sure what you are trying to do here, can you try explaining again?

If you have to update/change formulas on a regular basis, perhaps the formulas were not properly structured in the 1st place?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Are you asking for help with (dynamic) named ranges?
