Value reference from formula result for Sum Calculation

Hello,
please see attached document for reference.

I would like a formula in rows 3/6/9/12 that references the value shown from a formula in rows 4/7/10/13.

for example:
In cell C3 I would like it look at C4 and copy the value (only) shown, in order to be able to SUM each row in column P.
If the cell is blank then I would like it to return a '0' or blank value.

It seems you could use >> =IF(N(C4),C4,0) >> in C3 copied to the right.
