Question Vacation Accrual based on 18 weeks

    Hello,

Would appreciate your assistance if you can help me calculate 18 weeks of total vacation accrual in hours from the start date & also broken down by working weeks.

I have attached a file that will better represent the scenario.

    Appreciate you help.

    Original Hire Date = June 9, 2014
Calculate accrual from Start Date = Oct 29, 2018 to a max of 18 weeks Feb 15, 2019

Total vacation accrued in hours? = Improved formula needed, I coming up with 50 hours.

I also split the 18 weeks individually.

Re: Vacation Accrual based on 18 weeks

What exactly are you asking of us? You seem to want to know if this formula can be improved:

    =F2*'Vacation Accrual'!E4

    Improved in what way?

    Under I2
Lookup at D2 and calculate a total of 18 weeks in hours instead of having columns E,F,G as validators

    Do you mean this?

    =(DATEDIF(D2,D2+18*7,"ym"))*'Vacation Accrual'!E4
