Need help with a max on PTO Accrual

I need to have an accrual stop amount for my end formula. In another post you gave a < > example, I was thinking of a MAX IF: But unsure how either would work within my formulas.

I'm attaching, hope you can help.

Actually it is MIN you want to use. See the attachment. By the way the end formulas were not consistent for all rows in what you sent. I don't know why so I made them all consistent. You may need to adjust back for that.

Thank you so much for your help, however, how do you change the max amount? it should be 240 but your formula has $R$3.

some of the formulas were different to account for accrual changes and length of time with the company.. .

So, I can put the correct =MIN($R$3, in front of all of my formulas and it will be all good?

So the cell in $R$3 is where the number is, just change the cell to 240. So yes the MIN( in front then a comma before your formula and a closing ) at then end should work with different versions of the formula.

    =MIN(240,(J10+O10-E10))
    So this is good?
