Vlookup issue with file open prompting

    Hi,

This is probably very basic, but I am new to excel and stuck on how to save time.

I need to complete the same task for each month of the year so I have a tab created for each month in one file; everything is reliant on Vlookup. The Vlookup is coming from a different file in the same Master share file. There are files in the Master share for every month of the year. For the first worksheet everything worked as planned, and the file name is 'October 2019' and that file is connected to the Vlookup. The next tab is 'September 2019', and that's the name in the Vlookup as well as the file name. I have copied and pasted the original 'October 2019' tab into the other months of the worksheet. When I try to 'find and replace' every 'October 2019' with 'September 2019' in the September tab, it does work, but only converts 1 cell at a time, requiring me to select the 'September 2019' through the open file prompt. How do I make the change to 'September 2019' without having to go through the select file prompt for each change needing to be made?

'October 2019' is your filename , right ?
    AND
'October 2019' is also your sheet name in 'October 2019' file , right ?

If yes both , you can not search/replace with your current , you need to find the different between
'October 2019' in filename and in sheet name, and use them for search/replace.

    Regards.
